As director of marketing, Kathi McCalligan is responsible for the strategy and execution of all digital and traditional marketing programs, social media, public relations, community relations and events. These programs are specifically designed to build the Baker Electric Home Energy brand, drive qualified leads and contribute value through charitable efforts throughout Southern California.

Biography

McCalligan’s objective is to deliver quantifiable marketing programs to differentiate the unique benefits Baker brings to its customers. She promotes Baker’s brand personality across marketing channels to build value proposition with key audiences and ultimately drive market share.

McCalligan brings significant domestic and international experience creating and executing integrated marketing programs. Prior to joining Baker Electric Home Energy in February of 2015, she held the position of director, integrated marketing and events at San Francisco-based Blu Homes. In addition, her career experience includes serving as marketing director for Sunset Publishing, one of Time Inc.’s iconic brands and a marketing management position for Hewlett Packard’s networking business.

McCalligan received her bachelor’s degree from Antioch College. She went on to obtain her Professional Marketing Communications Certification from Boston University and her Professional Business Administration Certification from Babson College.

Her experience is critical to Baker Electric Home Energy’s exponential growth. She has the know-how to build brand awareness and preference, as well as create and manage high-performing, cross-functional teams. McCalligan also works closely with outside agencies to create and implement strategic programs to deliver measurable ROI.
