Ian Lochore’s primary responsibilities as director of residential sales are to motivate and direct the team of solar energy consultants to achieve Baker Electric Home Energy’s revenue goals and growth while enhancing the overall solar experience for all of Baker’s customers.

Education

B.A. in Commerce - Curtin University in Perth, Australia and Graduate Diploma of Education from Edith Cowan University in Perth

Biography

Lochore leads the residential sales team in order to achieve organizational revenue, and gross margin and customer experience objectives. Since 2014, he has been planning and directing functions essential to Baker’s sales team performance and productivity, and coaching and developing the sales team in order to build a scalable, “best of class” sales organization. He creates and implements strategic sales plans for geographic expansion and annual revenue milestones.

Lochore was born and raised in Perth, Australia. He began his career in sales and marketing in the late 90s. He held the following positions at Black and Decker Australia – territory sales representative, trade development specialist, sales and marketing manager; as well as overall brand manager for DeWalt. With the emergence of the solar energy industry in 2007, Lochore transitioned easily into sales and marketing manager positions with SunPower Corporation, Natural Energy Company (SolarGain Southwest) and most recently as regional sales manager for SolarCity Corporation.
